LeanCPASM Improvement Projects

Accounting process improvement projects can be related to tax, accounting, audit or another aspect of the firm's services. During these projects, a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt leads a cross-functional team through an improvement project identified by the firm's leadership as its highest priority. The team will then develop a new process that uses best practices and tools to increase the CPA firm’s efficiency.

During the improvement project process, employees will complete a detailed survey. This information will help us - and you - learn what they consider to be inefficiencies within in the firm. From accounting, to audit, to tax processes, each phase is evaluated.

This process often leads to other improvement projects. Once people experience what a difference enhancements make to their jobs, they want to take on more accounting process improvement projects.
